What They Need

Clinical Foundation: A Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Virginia (or compact equivalent). A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree is highly preferred.

Surgical Expertise: A minimum of two years of recent, hands-on Operating Room or Surgical Services experience within an acute care hospital setting.

Leadership Acumen: Proven experience as a Charge Nurse, Clinical Supervisor, or Team Lead within a surgical environment, demonstrating a readiness to manage direct reports, daily schedules, and department productivity.

Life Safety Credentials: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Operational Savvy: The ability to effectively balance human resource management, staff scheduling, supply optimization, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance and risk management standards.
