What They Need

Academic Credentials: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). A Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business is highly preferred.

Proven Leadership Tenure: A minimum of 3+ years of dedicated Surgical Services Director experience operating specifically within an acute care hospital environment.

Strategic Financial Acumen: Proven mastery over departmental operational budgets, labor management, position control, scheduling excellence, and supply chain optimization.

Clinical Quality Advocacy: A track record of identifying and executing evidence-based clinical practices to improve patient safety, achieve benchmark accreditations, and enhance patient throughput.
