What They Need
Educational Foundations: An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma is required, though a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.
Active Credentials: Valid Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice or an active compact license, plus Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
Clinical Expertise: At least 3 years of recent acute care hospital surgery experience, with a solid background in general surgery. Strong experience in robotics and orthopedics is highly advantageous.
Leadership Track Record: Minimum of 3 years of recent leadership experience, such as a Charge RN or OR Manager, with proven success in managing daily schedules, staffing productivity, and resource stewardship.
