SHIFT: Full-time • Days (Rotating Weekends)
Summary:
Assess patient condition during surgical procedures, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of surgical patients.
Experience:
A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN OR experience.
Call required
Fingerprinting required
Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Certifications / Licensure:
urrent State of Florida Registered RN License, or
Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
