The Opportunity
This is a full-scope executive opportunity for an ambulatory surgery center or surgical hospital leader ready to carry direct accountability across operations, financial performance, physician relationships, and governing board alignment. Based in Tucson, Arizona, this permanent position places you at the center of facility strategy — coordinating across medical staff, leadership teams, and a national clinical infrastructure to drive quality, compliance, and sustainable performance. It is the kind of role that broadens your executive profile while keeping you operationally engaged at the ground level.
The schedule is full-time and on-site, with office space provided at the facility. Responsibilities span the full facility footprint: daily administrative and clinical support functions, staffing and workforce planning, budget development and financial oversight, vendor and contract management, regulatory and accreditation compliance, and physician credentialing support. You will also carry a direct role in quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and patient experience.
Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. You will be joining a well-capitalized national surgical platform with the physician partnership model and home office support structure to back meaningful operational work. Full benefits are included. Compensation is competitive based on experience.
Candidates should hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and bring 2 to 5 years of relevant leadership experience. The target background is ASC operations leadership, or hospital surgical operations with substantial ASC exposure. Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, financial management, and physician relations is required. Occasional travel may be expected.
If your background fits, do not wait on this one. Apply directly or book a confidential call — we will get you the details quickly.

The Package
Why Tucson?
Tucson sits at the center of the Sonoran Desert, framed by five separate mountain ranges and nearly 350 days of sunshine each year. Saguaro National Park borders the city on two sides, putting world-class hiking, cycling, and trail access within a short drive of most neighborhoods. The climate is dry and mild across most of the year, making outdoor living a realistic daily habit rather than a weekend option. Tucson holds UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy status, a distinction earned by a genuinely diverse and regionally rooted food culture. The University of Arizona adds academic depth and a research-oriented community that keeps the city culturally active well beyond what its population size might suggest.
For families, Tucson delivers strong public and private school options, a cost of living that runs below national averages, and a housing market that still offers meaningful value compared to comparable Sun Belt cities. Neighborhoods range from historic adobe and territorial architecture near the downtown core to newer residential communities on the city's growing edges. Phoenix sits roughly two hours north, providing straightforward access to a major international airport, professional sports, and extended metro amenities when needed. Arizona's property taxes rank among the lowest in the country, and the overall affordability of Tucson means a competitive salary goes further here than in many markets of similar size and quality. For anyone weighing a relocation, this is a city that consistently exceeds expectations once people arrive.
