The Opportunity
This is a Special Procedures Technologist position inside a 234-bed acute care facility operating as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI capability and a designated Primary Stroke Center. The interventional volume is real — you will be scrubbing and assisting during diagnostic and complex peripheral angiographic cases, working alongside physicians in a high-acuity cardiac and vascular program. For a tech who wants to build a resume that reflects genuine depth in this specialty, the clinical exposure here is the kind that moves careers forward.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday on four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Rotating weekend coverage is part of the structure, along with on-call responsibility — plan for approximately 8 to 10 call days per month. This is a single permanent opening, and cross-training in the cardiac cath lab is expected and built into the role.
This position comes with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 in relocation assistance. You will be joining a well-established acute care system with a cardiology program that carries serious regional standing. The team environment is stable, the program is accredited, and the cross-specialty training path here is what separates a strong mid-career resume from an exceptional one. Compensation is competitive based on experience.
Candidates must hold current ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R). A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Special Procedures, a Cath Lab, or an EP Lab is required. BLS certification is required at hire. ACLS must be completed within six months of start. Neuro experience is preferred. You should be comfortable with contrast media administration, sterile field setup, hemodynamic monitoring, valve area readings, and assisting the interventional physician through complex cases. Proficiency with Meditech for exam documentation and PACS for image verification is a plus.
If this lines up with where you are in your career, let's talk. Apply directly or reach out to book a brief call — no pressure, just a straight conversation about the role and what it looks like for your situation.

The Package
Why Nashville Metro?
Nashville and its surrounding suburbs offer something that is increasingly rare in major metro areas: a city with genuine momentum that still feels manageable to live in. The suburb where this position is based sits along the Cumberland River corridor, with Percy Priest Lake just minutes out. Kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and greenway trails are accessible year-round, supported by a mild Tennessee climate that keeps outdoor life on the table across most seasons. The residential neighborhoods in this area are family-friendly, with well-regarded schools and a pace that gives you actual downtime between shifts. Tennessee's zero state income tax is worth factoring into any relocation decision — your take-home pay goes further here than it does in most comparable metros, and that compounds meaningfully over time.
Downtown Nashville is roughly 15 to 20 minutes out and earns its reputation. The restaurant scene is broad and legitimate, the live music culture is part of daily life rather than just a weekend draw, and a growing arts and craft brewery scene reflects how much the city has evolved. Cost of living remains below the national average for a metro area with this level of activity, which makes the combination of career infrastructure, outdoor access, and cultural depth genuinely hard to match. Whether you are relocating with a family or making a move on your own, the Nashville area consistently rewards the decision.
