The Opportunity
This is a senior perioperative leadership seat with real breadth. As Director of Procedural and Surgical Services, you'll carry 24-hour operational accountability across the OR, Pre-op, PACU, and Cath/EP Lab — a combined service-line footprint that reflects serious institutional trust. You'll work alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, and executive leadership to drive quality outcomes, optimize surgical throughput, and shape the strategic direction of the department. One permanent opening, based in Phoenix, Arizona.
A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Relocation assistance is negotiable for the right fit. The position includes a full benefits package, opportunities for continued professional development, and a platform to grow within a nationally recognized healthcare organization. You'll be leading a tenured clinical team in an environment where perioperative excellence is taken seriously at every level of leadership.
To be considered, you must hold a current RN license (Arizona or compact-eligible) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At least five to seven years of progressive director-level leadership in perioperative services is required, with demonstrated accountability for clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality metrics. A Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is strongly preferred, as is CNOR certification or equivalent specialty credentialing. Experience leading multidisciplinary surgical teams in an acute care hospital will set your candidacy apart.
If your background reflects steady upward movement in perioperative leadership and this scope aligns with where you want to take your career, we want to hear from you. Apply directly or reach out to schedule a confidential conversation.

The Package
Why Phoenix?
Phoenix is one of those cities that catches people off guard. Most come for a career opportunity and end up building a life they had not expected to want — 300-plus days of sunshine, a genuine outdoor culture, and a metro area that has grown into a real destination without losing its accessibility. Hiking trails run through the city itself, world-class golf is essentially always in season, and the arts and restaurant scenes have steadily earned national recognition. Sky Harbor International Airport connects the city to virtually every major hub, which matters when family is somewhere else.
The practical case for Phoenix is equally strong. Arizona's flat income tax rate is among the lowest in the country, and the cost of living remains well below comparable metros on either coast. The public school landscape across the Phoenix metro is diverse, with a strong charter and magnet school presence, and suburban communities like Scottsdale, Chandler, and Gilbert consistently rank among the best places to raise a family in the Southwest. The commute culture is car-dependent, but infrastructure has kept pace with growth, and most of the metro is navigable without the gridlock that defines larger coastal cities. For someone considering a deliberate, career-forward relocation, Phoenix makes a credible case.
