The Opportunity
This is a charge-level surgical nursing role that comes with real authority from day one. A 317-bed acute care hospital in Tamarac, FL is filling one Day Surgery Charge RN position — a Clinical Nurse Coordinator function with full shift accountability across a high-volume surgical floor. If you have pre-op experience and you're ready to step into a leadership seat that actually means something, this is worth a serious look.
The schedule is clean: full-time days, 10-hour shifts starting at 6:45 AM, no weekends. One opening. This is a permanent placement with a Joint Commission-certified facility that holds a recognized Orthopedic and Spine Institute and strong regional presence across South Florida. Relocation assistance is negotiable for the right candidate.
The facility brings stability, capital, and a management infrastructure built to support charge-level leadership. You will work alongside a broader leadership team with access to staff scheduling support, inventory management systems, and a structured performance management framework. Advancement tracks here are real — the CNC role is a natural bridge between the floor and director-level leadership for candidates who want to keep moving.
Requirements: active RN licensure, Associate Degree minimum, and 3 to 5 years of pre-op RN experience. ACLS and BLS are required — both can be obtained within 30 days of your start date. Compensation is competitive based on experience.

The Package
Why Tamarac?
Tamarac sits in the heart of western Broward County, positioned between Fort Lauderdale to the east and the Everglades to the west. It is a well-established suburban city with a strong sense of community, a relatively low cost of living by South Florida standards, and access to everything the region offers without the noise and congestion of the coast. The neighborhoods are quiet, well-maintained, and home to a mix of families and long-term residents who have built real roots here. Broward County schools are consistently well-regarded across the metro, and the city's parks system gives residents steady access to green space and recreational amenities.
South Florida is the draw. Atlantic beaches are a 25-minute drive. The Fort Lauderdale corridor delivers waterfront dining, professional sports, nightlife, and an international airport that connects you to anywhere. Year-round warm weather means outdoor life does not stop when the calendar turns — kayaking, fishing, cycling, and golf are practical weekend activities, not seasonal ones. The Sawgrass Expressway and Florida Turnpike keep Tamarac well-connected to the broader metro without requiring you to absorb coastal rent premiums. And Florida's zero state income tax means every dollar you earn stays yours. For a clinician looking to plant roots in a high-demand healthcare market with genuine lifestyle upside, Tamarac makes a compelling case.
