The Opportunity
Staff-level Cardiovascular Technologist openings don't come around often in a market like this — and three are available right now on Florida's Gulf Coast. This is a permanent position at a 238-bed acute care facility that holds the region's only accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. If you're looking for meaningful procedural volume in an environment that has the infrastructure to back it up, this is worth a close look.
All three openings run a Days schedule with rotating weekends. You'll work directly alongside physicians on diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular work, and special procedures, with hemodynamic monitoring as part of the daily scope. The facility also operates the only Level III NICU and the only dedicated Pediatric ER in the region — a meaningful indicator of the clinical depth and acuity here.
The benefits package is comprehensive. Medical coverage includes prescription and behavioral health benefits plus free telemedicine. Retirement options include a 401(k) with 100% employer match, plus an employee stock purchase plan. Education assistance covers tuition, student loans, and certification support. Additional offerings include paid family leave, fertility benefits, life and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, and an employee health assistance fund. Relocation assistance is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates need one year of experience in a Cath Lab, Specials, or Vascular setting. The facility will also consider a seasoned Radiologic Technologist who is actively shadowing in a Cath Lab. An Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology is required, along with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician license. Credentialing requires either ARRT registry or the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) designation. BLS is required at hire. ACLS must be obtained within 45 days of start.
Three seats are open and the client is actively reviewing candidates. Apply now or reach out directly to schedule a quick call — we'll walk you through the details and get you in front of the right people fast.

The Package
Why Panama City?
Panama City sits on Florida's Emerald Coast, where the Gulf of Mexico meets some of the clearest water in the country. The beaches here are the real thing — white quartz sand, calm surf, and roughly 320 days of sunshine per year. The area draws vacationers from across the country, but for people who actually live and work here, it's simply home: affordable, low-traffic outside of peak tourist season, and genuinely easy to enjoy through most of the year. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 15 minutes from the city center and offers direct service to major hubs, which matters for anyone who travels or has family spread across the country.
Florida has no state income tax, which means your paycheck stretches further here than in most comparable markets. Panama City's cost of living runs below the national average, and the housing market still offers real value relative to larger metro areas. Bay County has a solid public school system, a growing healthcare and professional community, and more than enough outdoor recreation — boating, fishing, kayaking, golf, and several state parks — to keep you busy year-round. The region also benefits from the presence of Tyndall Air Force Base, which contributes to a stable, community-oriented character that sets it apart from Florida's more crowded coastal metros. For candidates weighing a permanent move, Panama City delivers a lifestyle that's genuinely hard to replicate at this price point.
