What They Need
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Director of Surgical Services in an acute care setting, plus 3+ years of clinical surgical experience.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Ability to manage 125–150 FTEs and lead a team of 4 managers with a focus on accountability and interdisciplinary collaboration.
FINANCIAL ACUMEN: Proven success in budget forecasting, labor management, and operational efficiency.
QUALITY FOCUS: A deep commitment to evidence-based practices, patient safety, and maintaining 5-star clinical standards across General, Bariatric, Ortho, and Vascular specialties.
