What They Need
Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care CVOR RN experience, specifically with a background handling open-heart and cardiovascular cases.
Licensure: An active Florida RN license or an approved multistate Compact RN license (with the requirement to obtain a state-specific license within 60 days of relocation).
Education: A Registered Nurse Diploma or an Associate Degree in Nursing.
Life Support Certifications: Active BLS/BCLS instructor or provider certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS/ENPC instructor or provider certifications within 6 months of employment.
On-Call Availability: Willingness to fulfill a rotating call schedule of approximately 10 to 15 days per month, with the strict ability to arrive at the surgical suite within a 30-minute response time.
Versatility & Adaptability: Flexibility to seamlessly support the general Operating Room suites during periods when open-heart case volumes fluctuate.
