What You Need
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Business (MBA) strongly preferred.
Licensure & Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or compact equivalent); American Heart Association BLS required upon hire; Specialty or Executive Nursing Leadership certification desired.
Clinical & Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in surgical services, backed by proven progressive nursing management expertise overseeing operating room workflows, capital budgets, and multidisciplinary surgical teams.
Operational Mastery: Advanced competency in healthcare information systems, root-cause risk mitigation, case management alignment, quality/performance improvement protocols, and regulatory agency compliance.
